Late start and lunch

Okay, we didn't leave at 5:00. More like 10:00, but there were a million last minute things to do. About 11:45 people started getting grumpy. Lunchtime! We asked Karen, our not so trusty GPS, for directions to a park for so we could eat the sandwiches and watermelon I had packed this morning. One of her suggestions was a municipal park. We thought shade tree, picnic benches, and maybe a stream. Not so, but I'll let another member of the family share.
