We saw a bear just after leaving the campsite in Cimarron Canyon. Actually we almost hit the bear with the car. The bear lumbered out from the trees at the side of the road. Fortunately Chris has much experience in avoiding large animals on the road. We didn't hit that moose 15 years ago, and we didn't hit the bear this time. Chris is our hero!
